The bug is a discarded toy, attached to a reused brooch back. She has been hand painted, foil leafed and embellished with vintage textiles, and Indian embellishments. All materials are recycled, collected and found, deconstructed and reassembled to tell a new story and have a refreshed purpose.
All my pieces are individual and one-off - as I only work with recycled and reclaimed objects I never know what I am going to find. If you are looking for something particular, please ask - and I'll start looking!
