Rosa didn't know where she fitted in now and idly roamed the seas without direction. She started to collect random objects as she found them and secured them to her shell. Rosa became a living work of art and that was enough purpose for now.
The Ballad of Backwards and Forwards Collection
The turtle is a discarded toy, piled with recycled costume jewellery components, dried flowers, hand painted and metal foils. All materials are recycled, collected or found, deconstructed and reassembled to tell a new story and have a refreshed purpose.
All my pieces are individual and one-off - as I only work with recycled and reclaimed objects I never know what I am going to find. If you are looking for something particular, please ask - and I'll start looking!
