Staying with the herd was safe but felt monotonous and had stopped feeding Jeanies soul. Going it alone was scary, and there were so many things to consider. One beautiful morning as the sun rose, she acted impulsively, and asked shyly to join the parade as it passed. They welcomed her and she took a break from her normal and went on an adventure. She was different when she returned - and it was just a fleeting visit.

The zebra is a discarded toy, with coloured acrylic wings and a miniature white elephants. All materials are recycled, collected or found, deconstructed and reassembled to tell a new story and have a refreshed purpose.
I have also dressed them with decoupage, painted tattoos and foil leaf. She has vintage textiles and painted hooves.
All my pieces are individual and one-off - as I only work with recycled and reclaimed objects I never know what I am going to find. If you are looking for something particular, please ask - and I'll start looking!
